The Three Deals Worth Setting an Alarm For
First, any discount on the Ohio Bar or Ohio Power Bar — these bars essentially never go on sale the other 51 weeks of the year, and 10% off the best all-around and power bars made in the USA is real money. Second, bumper plate bundles: plates carry the deepest percentage discounts and free shipping thresholds make the math work. Third, the Echo Bar 2.0 — if it dips under $180 it becomes the best value barbell purchase of the year, full stop.
What Matte Black Friday Usually Does NOT Include
- •Stainless steel bar variants — often excluded or minimal discounts
- •Monster racks (Rogue Monster series) — rarely discounted beyond accessories
- •IWF/IPF competition bars — certification items hold price
- •Deep percentage cuts — Rogue is a 10-15% brand, not a 40% brand
- •Free shipping sitewide — usually thresholds or select items only
- •New product launches — Matte Black Friday discounts existing stock
Rogue Black Friday: Buy or Wait?
Buy During the Sale If…
- ✓The Ohio Bar, Echo Bar, or Bella Bar is on your list — these are the sell-out trio
- ✓You are buying a full plate set — bundling during the event maximizes savings
- ✓You were going to buy anyway before January — same product, 10% less
- ✓You have been tracking the price — a real discount is verifiable, not a fake markdown
Skip / Wait If…
- ✗You want a Monster rack or competition bar — discounts are rare to nonexistent
- ✗The "deal" is a third-party reseller — Amazon "Rogue" listings are often MSRP or above
- ✗You cannot verify the pre-sale price — screenshot prices now to compare later
- ✗A REP or Titan alternative covers your needs at a bigger discount
The Smart Play: Price-Track Now, Buy in Wave One
Screenshot the prices of your exact targets today. When Matte Black Friday drops, verify the discount is real, then buy within the first 48-72 hours — the sale does not usually "get better" later; stock just runs out. If your target sells out, the REP Black Friday sale (usually similar timing, deeper cuts) is the strongest fallback, followed by Titan for budget builds.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the Rogue Black Friday sale in 2026?
Black Friday falls on November 27, 2026. Rogue historically launches Matte Black Friday deals during Thanksgiving week, running through Cyber Monday (November 30) or while stock lasts. Some first-wave deals have appeared mid-November in past years.
Does the Rogue Ohio Bar go on sale for Black Friday?
Historically yes — the Ohio Bar typically sees around 10% off during Matte Black Friday, one of the only times it is discounted all year. It is also among the first items to sell out during the event.
How much do you save on Rogue during Black Friday?
Expect 10-15% on most bars ($20-45 on a barbell), 15-20% on plates and accessories. Rogue is a premium brand with modest discounts — but since they rarely discount otherwise, the sale is the best buy window of the year.
Does Rogue offer free shipping on Black Friday?
Rogue usually runs shipping promotions during the event — historically free shipping thresholds or free shipping on select products rather than sitewide. Check the terms per item; barbells often ship free even outside the sale.
Is it better to buy Rogue or REP on Black Friday?
REP typically discounts deeper (10-20%) than Rogue (10-15%) and its Alpine and Colorado bars are the closest spec match to the Ohio Bar and Ohio Power Bar. If the specific Rogue bar you want is discounted and in stock, buy it. If not, REP is the strongest alternative at a better price.
Do Rogue deals appear on Amazon for Black Friday?
Be careful — third-party "Rogue" listings on Amazon are often at or above MSRP. Buy direct from roguefitness.com for the genuine sale price, warranty, and return policy.
